BP Series Pure Sine Wave Inverter 5000 watt
The BP series pure sine wave inverter 5000W data-sheet shows running Temp is -10°C to 50°C. Our customer let us test the BP inverter running in -10°C for 8 hours, but we tested for 15 hours under -40°C.
Live up to expectations, the inverter works fine. This means that when the inverter is in a cold environment below zero, such as winter, it can continue to work. If you are in a place with cold winters and you have to worry about the supply of electricity, you can learn about our BP series inverters.
How Temperature Affects Inverters?
Each inverter has an operating temperature range, you should stay within that range for optimal efficiency. In most cases, you would not need to worry about it getting so hot or cold that your inverter stops working. However, inverters do have an ideal temperature when they are most effective. Even before your inverter reaches the max operating temperature, it would typically gradually reduces its power output, by reducing the output current, through a process called “de-rating”. De-rating protects sensitive components and prolongs their lifetime. When the temperature drops, the inverter increases power output automatically.
